2nd XI v Failand & Portbury (A)

Luckless Failand & Portbury were beaten out of sight by a rampmant Chew at Racecourse Lane. Batting first Chew piled on the runs as almost the top order filled their boots.

Simon White led the way with a majestic 81 (16 fours) with able support form Tom Harding, Pat Jones and skipper Andy Witcombe, 67 (10 fours 2 sixes).

The Failand response was dominated by Pursey, but even his 70 (lbw Witcombe) was no were near enough as the home side fell away to 185 all out.

Wickets shared around with Andy Witcombe and Andy Banks sharing 6 between them.
