RELEGATION NERVES CALMED

Sun, Sep 10th 2017, 19:05 by ART

At the moment it appears both teams have survived relegation from their respective divisions. The first team won their last game which meant they drew level with Old B's on points, and because they had better head to head results they have survived by the skin of their teeth. This in no small part to another Stu Watson ton in the last game. 122 not out . The Two's fell away badly in the last 5 games losing them all comprehensively, but decent results earlier in the season saw them hang on by 2 points in division 4. All results have now been uploaded to the website. Season over.

LAWRENCE GIVES AN ALL ROUND DISPLAY

Mon, Jun 19th 2017, 19:09 by ART

Dave Lawrence produced personal best performances this weekend with both bat and ball and still ended up on the losing side as Chew went down by three wickets at home to Knowle.

A personal tally of 133 runs and 5 for 39 were not enough to give Chew the points in a close game.

The Two's fared better with captain Lee Bryant just missing out on a ton during the away win at Bristol West Indies.
