Nickname: Dom
Playing Style: Right Hand Bat
Club Debut: 1990
Dominic Gibbs, a throw back to the halcyon days of the roaring twenties.
Dom batted in his Billy Bunter cap and always wore a neckerchief. This gave him the appearance of something out of Bertie Wooster. Sadly for the bowler though this was purely there to lull them into a false sense of security, as Dom would build innings after innings.
Played below his ability, but as he was unable to drive, (and his chauffeur didn`t work Saturdays) Dom only played a handful of games in the Ones.
Still, in the Two`s he scored an absolute shed load and averaged around 50 for several years in a row.
Claim to fame; knew his batting average down to 5 decimal places.
