Nickname: Adge
Playing Style: Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Seamer
Club Debut: 1986
Trevor Chubb is a legend around the Chew Valley for many things, one of those is playing cricket.
Trevor played in the Youth Team of the late seventies early eighties and then moved on to play adult cricket with Chew Stoke, his home village. Played for Chew Magna in the mid eighties for 6 years before moving onto Purnells.
Returned to Chew in 2006 after 2 years of "retirement".
Although never a natural athlete, trains on diet Guinness, Trevor was a formidable player on the pitch and a character off it.
His renditions of Adge Cutler songs are legend.
He bowls right arm seamers, and in his hey day took stacks of wickets by bowling line and length and hitting the seam. Low bounce due to his lack of inches and deceptively quick pace gave many a good batsman a tricky time at the crease.
Slowed down a bit recently and sufferes from all manner of strains and sprains, but still manages to turn out for the Two`s every now and then.
Batted in every position during his time in the first team, and on his day could be a powerful striker of the ball.
