Playing Style: Right Hand Bat, Right Arm Trundler
Club Debut: 1980
Chris Gadd along with his brother Tony played for the club in the early eighties. Father Ken was one of the clubs two umpires.
Chris was as keen as mustard in his early days and took lots of wickets in the Twos. No mug with the bat either Chris made several half centuries under the captaincy of Brian Stanworth and then Mike Watkins.
Not good under top edge.
Claim to fame, able to eat (usually assisted by Tony) an unbelievable amount of tea at the tea interval. Drove home from a raine doff tour match with 34 sandwiches and 17 cakes on the dash board of their Austin 1300
